The Engineer Behind the Mix

Chayse Burmeister

I'm an audio engineer from Lakefield, Minnesota, with over a decade of experience recording, mixing, and mastering metalcore, deathcore, death metal, and hard rock.

I work across the full production process, from tracking instruments and vocals to mixing and preparing the final master. In a heavy mix, that means paying close attention to how the guitars, bass, and kick fit together, and keeping the vocals audible through the busiest parts of a song.

Outside the studio, I play in my band God Cult.
